Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lumi mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by Digita App World ("Lumi", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Lumi is
Lumi is a cosmetic-wellness app that offers AI-assisted skin snapshots, personalized skincare routines, product/ingredient assessments, an AI coach, and reminders. The Service provides general cosmetic and wellness guidance for informational purposes only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using Lumi you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Subscriptions & billing
- Plans. Some features require a paid subscription, offered as an auto-renewing subscription (for example, a Yearly or Weekly plan). Current pricing is shown in the app before you purchase.
- Billing & renewal. Payment is charged to your app-store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing & canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app-store account settings (e.g. Apple ID > Subscriptions) at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by the app store, and refund requests are subject to that store's policies. We generally cannot grant refunds directly.
- Free trials/offers (if offered) convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
For Apple App Store purchases, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- upload content you don't have the right to use, or images of other people without their consent;
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- use the Service to provide medical advice to others or as a substitute for professional care.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Digita App World and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. Content you create or upload remains yours.
6. No medical advice
Lumi provides cosmetic and wellness guidance only and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns. See our Disclaimer for full details.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (such as our AI provider, subscription provider, and the app stores). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or content.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that results, scores, or recommendations are accurate, complete, or suitable for you, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digita App World will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions about these Terms? Email [email protected].
